Aavishkar workshops

Aavishkar Clinic has organised a workshop for students between eight and 16 years from May 24 to May 29 on creativity, relationships, growing up, values, habits and study skills. The workshop will be held at Aavishkar Psychiatric Clinic, 20 Chandan Mansion, opposite Portuguese Church, Gokhale Road, Dadar W. Aavishkar has also organised a weekend workshop for adolescents from 14 to 21 years at Neral on May 22 and 23 and June 5 and 6. A weekend workshop on stress and time management will also be held at Matheran from May 29 and 30. For registration, call on 4227515 between 10 am and 8 pm or 5690036 between 1 pm and 7 pm.

Conservation camp at Borivli

WWF-India has organised a conservation camp at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The camp involves activities like bunding, making fire lines and garbage removal. Registrations are on from May 17 to 26. Call on 2075142 or 2071970 from 10 am to 5 pm.

Medline training for doctors

A free medline8217; training for doctorsis on at the HELP Library at Om Chambers, Kemps Corner. The doctors will be trained to use a special package containing medical information designed by the Beth Israel Hospital in Harvard. Call on 3683334/368 1014.

Social workers to be felicitated

Vivek and Vidyullata Pandit of the Vidhayak Sansad and Shramajeevi Sanghatana have been awarded the anti-Slavery Award for the year 1999 instituted by the Anti Slavery International. The award will be given to the Sanghatana in October at London.
