MSU all set to appoint PRO

VADODARA, Oct 4: M S University Vice-Chancellor Anil Kane has initiated the process of appointing a Public Relation Officer to look into the daily affairs of the university.

According to information, Kane has asked the co-ordinator of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication to suggest names from the faculty8217;s former or present batch of students for the post.

Kane said the purpose behind appointed a PRO was to provide a medium for teachers, students and the media to communicate with.

Observing that currently there was nobody through whom official information could be communicated directly, he said at present the university registrar was doubling up as the public relation officer. He admitted that in the process the registrar8217;s job was being affected.
