
The Madhya Pradesh Government has excluded state intelligence and security agencies working under its Home department from the application of the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Madhya Pradesh Government, which was published in the extra-ordinary issue of the Madhya Pradesh gazette, an official release said on Thursday.
The intelligence and security agencies, which have been excluded from the provisions of the aforesaid Act included Special Branch of police headquarters, 8216;C8217; section of the Home department, CID only for matters related to intelligence and security and Special Armed Forces SAF, it said.
