At the moment, no job in England seems as demanding as that of the weatherman 8212; and of course, that of the chief groundsman.

And with both on their toes at Nottingham, the first session of the second Test between India and England, scheduled to begin at 11 am local time, was gone, thanks to overnight rain. But then, the clock struck 3, the umpires called play, India put England in to bat 8212; finally, some rest for the groundsman at least.

But it8217;s not over yet. The forecast in Nottinghamshire isn8217;t promising at all over the weekend. On Sunday, BBC Weather warned that a thunderstorm is around the corner.
