Missing the show

The I038;B-cum-Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi was much saddened for not being able to make it to the Cannes film festival. To anyone who cared to listen, he recounted his soulful tale of missed opportunities, of wasted air-tickets, and the VVIP accommodation at Cannes. All thanks to rumours spread by the Opposition that he got the Budget Session adjourned sine die three days before schedule to go to the Riviera town. But he more than made up by flying off to Zurich for a football tournament instead.
