PUNE, Sept 29: With the explosion in information technology Pune and Mumbai are emerging as major information technology centres, said Pune Divisional Commissioner Rajeev Agrawal.

He was speaking at the convocation ceremony of the Modern Centre of Information Technology and Research. Agarwal said that with the use of computers in Government services had brought a lot of transparency. This had brought the common man closer to the bureaucracy and helped him understand the working of the government better, he said.
