BHILAI, FEB 26: Madhya Pradesh opener JP Yadav celebrated his inclusion in the Board President8217;s XI squad with a swashbuckling 106 not out as the hosts forced a draw against Hyderabad in their Group C Ranji Trophy Super League match at the Jayanti Stadium here today.

Following on, Madhya Pradesh were 226 for four, when play was called off after eight mandatory overs.

Yadav was on a roll as the prolific batsman from Gwalior hit 12 boundaries and three huge sixes in his 106-run innings. His century came off 262 deliveries in 337 minutes. He was dropped once at his individual score of 76 by Venka Pratap at silly-point off Raju.

Left-handed Amay Khurasia cracked five fours and a six in his 30 but trying to sweep a Kanwaljeet Singh delivery, he edged to Daniel Manohar at silly-point.

Hyderabad got five points by virtue of their first innings lead and have a tally of 13 points while Madhya Pradesh have eight points. Hyderabad had crushed Bihar by an innings and took first innings lead overVadodara.Hyderabad now play Haryana at Faridabad while Madhya Pradesh meet Bihar at Gwalior from March 4.
