I Am not a big foodie but one cuisine that my taste buds just can8217;t resist is Bengali. I crave to eat my mother8217;s preparations. And whenever I feel like eating home-made authentic Bengali delicacy, I go to my best friend, Tanushree Dutta8217;s place at Andheri. A fortnight back, her mother, an excellent cook, invited me to have dinner comprising hilsa fried fish, brinjal fry made in mustard oil, potato curry, sweet dal, mutton curry, vegetable pulao and sweet dish-payesh made out of milk, jaggery, dry fruits and rice.

After the meal, we began watching a horror movie but soon enough, we had another round of dinner. It was a memorable evening as we girls had fun chatting and eating some mouth-watering food.

As told to Deepa Venkatraman
