
PORT ELIZABETH, DECEMBER 10: Lance Klusener pounded 174 as South Africa completed a remarkable recovery on the second day of the second Test against England at St George8217;s Park on Friday.
South Africa, sent in to bat, reached a total of 450 after they had been 146 for five when Klusener went in as the No 7 batsman on the first day.
Klusener hit 174. It came off 221 balls with 25 fours and two sixes. He shared stands of 106 for the sixth wicket with Jonty Rhodes, 119 for the eighth wicket with Mark Boucher and 49 for the last wicket with new cap Mornantau Hayward.
