Ailing BSP leader Kanshi Ram came out of 8216;hibernation8217; to speak for party chief Mayawati today. Appearing on TV, he called Mayawati 8216;8216;his only caretaker8217;8217; and said he was getting the best treatment.
8216;8216;I want to go with you,8217;8217; he told Mayawati when asked who would he go to, his family or her. Breaking down, Kanshi Ram said his family had never taken care of him while she has always been by his side.
Kanshi Ram spoke to the media following his brother8217;s allegations that Mayawati was not letting him meet his family. His brother also alleged that Kanshi Ram might be poisoned following his 8216;8216;disagreement8217;8217; with Mayawati8217;s political decisions.
According to the doctors, the family was offended when two weeks ago, his brothers tried to administer some tantrik 8216;8216;potion8217;8217; to him but the doctors attending on him did not allow them. 8216;8216;They were offended and did not come after that,8217;8217; a source said.
His doctor and Batra Hospital HoD Medicine, Dr S.L. Sindhavani, said the BSP leader8217;s condition is 8216;8216;showing very slow recovery8217;8217;. Ranjit Singh, his youngest sister Gurcharan Kaur8217;s husband said nobody is stopping the family from meeting Kanshi Ram.
