New Delhi, Aug 31: Jeev Milkha Singh finished at the 30th spot (294) with an aggregate of six-over 294 after four rounds, in the US 365,000 Scottish PGA Championships at the Monarch’s Course in Glenagles, Scotland. The Chandigarh-based golfer shot a two-over par 74 under difficult conditions on the final day with two birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.

Quite unused to the cold wet windy weather, Jeev recorded a bogey-free front nine, which included a birdie on the ninth. However, the return journey proved to be a very difficult one with a double bogey on the par-4 16th adding to the bogeys on the 10th and 14th. He managed to reduce the defecit with a birdie.

Warren Bennett of England won the title on the first hole in the play-off after he tied at six under with Rolf Muntz of the Netherlands. India born Daniel Chopra finished joint 15.
