NEW DELHI, Aug 1: Janata Dal today said it will oppose the Prasar Bharti Bill in the Rajya Sabha.The Bill, passed in the Lok Sabha by voice vote yesterday, implied only the removal one man, senior Janata Dal leader and former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said obviously referring to Prasar Bharti CEO S S Gill.Paswan, who met Congress leader P A Sangma earlier in the day, said his party will also support Congress candidate P M Sayeed for the post of deputy speaker of Lok Sabha, election for which will be held on Tuesday.Paswan was talking to reporters after a meeting of national executive of Dalit Sena which demanded among other things separate quota for SC ST, OBC and minorities women in the proposed Women Reservation Bill, economic upliftment of Dalits, implementation of land reforms act and formation of national judiciary service commission.
