Chandigarh, November 14: Indian challenge came down crashing as all the four players were ousted in the second round of the ITF men8217;s Futures Tennis Tournament on Tuesday.

Third seeded Syed Fazaluddin bowed out to Mauritius8217; Kamil Patel in three hard-fought sets 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, while Nitin Kirtane, Manoj Mahadevan and Vijay Kannan were the others who bowed out.

Davis cupper Fazaluddin allowed Kamil to make best of the situation by giving the unheralded player plenty of room to manoevre. Former National champion Kirtane went down to the top seed Juraj Hasko of Slovakia 6-3, 7-5.

The Slovakian looked troubled by Kirtane8217;s slow game, but still managed to pull himself together during the crucial points and carve out a win. In other action, Manoj Mahadevan and Vijay Kannan lost to their better rated foreign opponents. Mahadevan went down in three tight sets to Branislav Sekac of Slovakia 7-6 7-5, 4-6, 2-6 while Irishman John Doran got the better of Kannan 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
