
Fielding coach Robin Singh says the Indian team has learnt their lessons from the Colombo Test and believes they can turn the tables in the second Test.
8220;Everyone is prepared in their own way. If each player plays well, if the openers are able to get a good start rest of the batsmen can follow,8221; he said.
8220;We were very low after the defeat in the last Test but we are mentally in a better shape right now. Everyone is trying to lift his game,8221; Robin said. 8220;There have been a few lapses in the past that won8217;t be repeated. Most of the people are aware of their responsibilities. I feel we had a bad day in Colombo but we will come back strongly.8221;
Robin insists the players are putting extra effort to improve their catching as well. 8220;As far as our fielding is concerned, Gambhir is working hard on close catches. In the last match, slip cordon was good. Dinesh Karthik had a bad match as a wicketkeeper. He dropped a few catches but it is a part of the game,8221; he said.
