4 die in mishap
Nagar: Four people were killed on the spot on Wednesday when a jeep dashed against a tree near the Garware Company in the MIDC area on Ahmednagar-Manmad Road. The deceased have been identified as Dynaneshwar Ramnath Wakchoure 35, Anil Ramnath Wakchoure 27, Vidya Anil Wakchoure 25 and the driver Sanjay Vasant Zalte 23. Another four people have been injured in the accident. The jeep was heading towards Lipani Pimpalgaon in Akole taluka from Mohta Devi when the mishap occurred.

Women8217;s meet
Nagar: A women8217;s meet was organised by Rotary Club of Ahmednagar, Child development and district hospital in connection with the pulse polio doses to be given to the children. An appeal was made to the public for maximum participation in the pulse polio programme by danseuse Dr Sudha Kankariya, Dr S R Jadhav, Vasant Patil and others.

Body found
Nagar: A corpse of a 45-year-old man was found near Old ST stand here recently. The police claim that the man is from the village in Nagar taluka and have also registered a case of accidental death in the Kotwali police station.
