ICL gets website developed by Microsoft

The Subhash Chandra-promoted Indian Cricket League (ICL) said it has launched its website, indiancricketleague.in, developed by Microsoft.

The Subhash Chandra-promoted Indian Cricket League (ICL) on Monday said it has launched its website, indiancricketleague.in, developed by software giant Microsoft.

“From today, our website has been launched,” ICL Executive Board Chairman Kapil Dev told reporters in Mumbai.

The website would have live broadcast of matches, recorded highlights of matches, scoreboard, statistics and charts.

“We will put all the information on the website and it will be in detail,” he said.

In the next 10 days, Microsoft would integrate its Silverlight, a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in with the ICL website.

ICL’s rival Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) doesn’t have a website.

On the ongoing India-Pakistan cricket series, Kapil Dev said, “I hope India wins the series.”

On the emergency in Pakistan, Dev said, “As a good neighbour, we want Pakistan to return to normalcy soon.”
