CHENNAI, December 9: International Cricket Council (ICC) anti-corruption commissioner Paul Condon and Australian Cricket Board (ACB)’s Greg Melick are scheduled to arrive here late tonight for talks with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president A C Muthiah, in pursuit of the truth behind the involvement of some foreign players named by the CBI in its match fixing probe report.

According to board sources here, Mr Condon and Mr Melick will be meeting Mr Muthiah after which they are scheduled to leave for New Delhi to meet senior Indian Government officials and the CBI director as well as some senior Board officials.

The CBI in its report of the investigations had also named Brian Lara (West Indies), Alec Stewart (England), Martin Crowe (New Zealand), Arjuna Ranatunga and Aravinda de Silva (Sri Lanka) as having links with bookies, thereby suspecting their involvement in match-fixing.
