Before I started modelling, I put myself on a diet. I did lose weight, but I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone. The diet Mickey Mehta put me on really worked well for me. I could basically eat whatever I enjoyed, but in moderation. It was wholesome food without the unnecessary oil and spices. Right now I’m following a diet my model friend Ignatius has put me on. I can eat everything, except whatever disagrees with my blood group, namely sweet corn and chicken.
How often do you binge?
I give in whenever I feel like it. My binges revolve around spicy food, not chocolates or anything sweet. I have pickles and green chillies with my meals, and get cravings for street food. But I don’t overeat. I’ll have a plate of paani puri, or share a chaat with a friend.
What are your work-outs like?
I started exercising again after four years. I used to be well toned, but as I’m growing older, I realised I wasn’t as fit as I used to be. So I do 20 to 30 minutes of skipping for cardio, followed by crunches, squats and stretching.
Did you have to tone up for your appearance in Bluffmaster’s Right here right now?
No, I think they chose the models for the video because of the way they already looked. I wasn’t too sure if I’d be any good in a music video, but it’s turned out quite classy, not like a tacky item number.
