Diet: I’VE never thrown a tantrum about karela, tinda or any other vegetable. I don’t restrict myself or avoid anything. My breakfast varies, but I never skip it. Lunch and dinner are mostly at home, but I love trying out new restaurants and cuisines. What’s important is relishing whatever you eat.
Exercise: I’M not an exercise freak. I joined a gym because I wanted to introduce some form of exercise. I was also endlessly ragged by health-conscious friends about the lack of exercise in my life. When I’m in town, I gym thrice a week for about 45 minutes. I avoid cardio as it makes me lose weight. I warm up on the treadmill and do weights for my arms, legs and back.
Problem areas: I’M blessed with a good metabolic system, so I don’t put on weight in odd places. I sometimes suffer from back ache, but it’s caused by stress.
Manasarovar has received a lot of critical acclaim. Do you think it will be as popular commercially? Manasarovar’s sensibility is not mainstream. So some will take to it, some won’t. But that applies to any film. I’m happy about the experience I gained. All that matters is that it’s a good script and role. |
