Honey Bees B8217; enter knockouts

Shikshan Prasarak Mandal SPM eves had an easy task against Abhinav, winning 22-4. Kavita Koparkar did the bulk of the scoring with 14 points. Deccan Gymkhana eves too stayed in the race after notching up a convincing 22-8 victory against St Helena8217;s. Eshanee top scored with 10 points.

In the boys section, SPM had no such luck. They went down to Abhinav B8217; 18-24. The winners then posted yet another facile win 18-4 in the second session against Mitra Mandal. Bharati Nivas Society Club pipped PYC Gymkhana 29-14. The win keeps them in contention for the knockout stage.

The league phase nearly over, the tournament enters the knockout stage from tomorrow.
