Kashmir — an International issue: US
Wasington’s tilt towards Pakistan has become more apparent when Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Defence Secretary William Cohen talked about internationalising the Kashmir issue. Albright said her country was "re-examining" the underlying political problems between India and Pakistan including Kashmir’ at a briefing, says a report from Washington.

Ready to discuss Kashmir: PM
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today said India is ready to discuss all outstanding issues, including Kashmir, with Pakistan. "India is ready for talks with Pakistan. We had proposed some initiatives and if Pakistan insists on discussing Kashmir, we are ready for it," Vajpayee said today.
