CHANDIGARH, Aug 15: Harminder Bawa (37 not out) and fine bowling spell by Vijay Pal (4 for 9) enabled Godrej Cricket Club beat Star Cricket Club by 10 wickets and enter the final of the 11th Bathany Cup cricket tournament today.

Electing to bat Star CC batsmen were unable to face hostile spell of the rival bowlers. Apart from Vijay Pal, Ajay Sikka and Naresh Dingra also claimed three and two wickets, respectively, to reduce the opponents to 58 runs in 15 overs.

In reply Godrej CC got the winning total in the 16th over.

In another match an all-round performance by Madan Lal (67 not out and 2 for 21) helped Life Insurance Cricket Club beat Videocon CC by three wickets.
