Besides sports, Arshmeet has done well in academics as well. In Class VIII, he secured the second position in the city by securing 96 per cent in the final examinations.

Arshmeet8217;s biggest motivation in life is his family and he maintains that it is because of their support that he has been able to achieve whatever he has till now.

Besides badminton, Arshmeet is passionate about dancing and singing, which he says he enjoys the most.

Talking to Newsline, Arshmeet said: 8220;Badminton requires a lot of concentration. To focus and keep myself free of stress, I take lessons in dancing and singing to help me feel refreshed.8221;

What further makes Arshmeet popular in the school is his willingness to participate in every tournament 8212; be it at the school-level or the inter-school level. In future, Arshmeet aims to join IIT and become an engineer like his parents.

8220;There are times when one really feels low and thinks that nothing is going right in life. But these are the times which make one tough and a better person,8221; he says.
