Hamdard8217;s decision flayed

PATIALA, Nov 29: About half a dozen members of Shriomani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee of Patiala district condemned the decision of Rajya Sabha MP Barjinder Singh Hamdard to resign from the chairmanship of Anandpur Sahib Foundation.

In a joint statement, these members including Kartar Singh Bhoglan, Ranjit Singh Sanour, Tejinder Kaur Sethia, Kamlesh Kaur and Joginder Singh Punjrath, said the resignation was part of deep-rooted conspiracy to defame the Sikh Panth and its leadership. They alleged that the langar controversy arose due to the objections raised by Hamdard. And appealed to him to shun egoism which they said would lead to splitting of the SAD.
