The Tamil Nadu Police has issued a summons to the editor of the Tamil biweekly, Nakheeran, R R Gopal, to provide all information regarding forest brigand and sandalwood smuggler, Veerappan, to the joint commander of the Special Task Force of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Police, P Kalimuthu.

It said withholding any information on Veerappan was illegal8217;.
