
PANAJI, JAN 13: The Goa government will present a memorandum to the 11th Finance Commission projecting the State’s requirements of funds for the period 2000 to 2005 during the commission’s three-day visit beginning today.
Prof AM Khusro, chairman of the 11th Finance Commission accompanied by four members and senior officials during their two-day stay in Goa, will hold a series of meetings with the government, secretaries to government, senior officials and representatives of Goa Chamber of Commerce and business houses.
The members of the commission include NC Jain, JC Jetly and Dr Amaresh Bagohi.
