
NAGPUR, April 23: Rohan Gajjar of Mumbai entered the semi-finals of both under-14 and under-16 singles at the All-India Adidas Tennis Tournament for West Zone now being conducted here at the CP Club courts.
Rohan, the top seed in the under-14 section lived upto expectations when he beat his citymate and 5th seed Krishna Tanna 6-4 6-3. In the under-16 quarters, Rohan, the 7th seed, accounted for Pune8217;s Vikrant Sane. He registered a 6-2, 7-6 7-5 win.
Under-14 girls top seed Megha Wakharia Mumbai also had a field day today as she made it to the U-14 and U-16 semis. She, however, lost to Nikita Bharadwaj Gujarat in the U-16 semis 4-6, 2-6.
