Function on Senior Citizens146; Day

The International Senior Citizens8217; Day would be celebrated by the state government in a big way on October 1, so as to make the senior citizens conscious of their rights.

A spokesman of Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department today said a state-level function would be organised at Panchkula, which would be presided over by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Hooda would also lay the foundation stone of a building for a senior citizens8217; club. Functions would be organised at other district headquarters too. Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda would preside over the function in Rohtak, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Raghubir Singh Kadian would preside over the function at Jhajjar, Minister of state for Revenue Savitri Jindal would preside over the function at Hisar and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Dharamvir would preside over the function at Sonepat. The function at Bhiwani would be presided over by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ramesh Kaushik.
