Four passengers die inside bus

Four passengers, including two women, died in two Agartala-bound night buses from Guwahati. Police said three passengers fell unconscious inside a night bus from Guwahati when it reached Kumarghat in North Tripura district on Thursday evening. When the sick passengers were taken to Kumarghat hospital, they were declared brought dead. The bodies were sent for post-mortem. The driver and conductor were arrested on the charge of carrying overloads. Police said they were carrying 72 passengers in a 35 seater bus.

In a separate incident, a woman identified as Sridevi, died inside another bus from Guwahati. Police said when the bus reached Krishnanagar her husband found Sridevi unconscious. When she was taken to hospital, doctors declared her brought dead.
