SURAT, July 14: Two boys and two girls, all minors, have been reported missing from different areas of the city, separate cases registered in the police stations said.

The Limbayat police found a seven-year-old boy loitering in the police station area on Wednesday evening and have kept him there since. The boy has named himself as Sachin Haridas Savle without specifying where he stays.

The police have asked the boy8217;s relatives to claim him. The boy, the police said, is wearing ash-coloured jeans and a black shirt and speaks Hindi and Marathi.

Sangeeta Kalika Yadav 12, a girl residing at plot no 139, Ramdevnagar Road, opposite the Old Octroi post, is missing since Monday afternoon, his parents informed the Limbayat police. The girl went to school and did not return. A case registered by her father stated that she was wearing a salwar kameej and red sandals and had a gold nose ring when last seen. She is a class seven student, the police added.

Another girl, 15-year-old Ashila Kanji Harijan is missing since Tuesday, her parents informed the Kapodara police. The girl told her parents at around 11 am that she was going to buy vegetables but did not return. Kanji Karsan Harijan, a resident of Mahakali slum in Kapodara, lodged a police complaint saying that the girl has her name tattooed on her right arm as a mark of identification.

Paresh Valji Wagh 8 is missing from the Nanpura area of the city since June 30, the police were informed today. The boy8217;s father, Lalji Laxman Wagh, a resident of Gokulnagar slum at Bhatar, told the Athwalines police that Paresh, who was wearing a black shirt and black jeans when last seen, disappeared from Nanpura where he was playing. In a fourth case registered at the Limbayat police station, 11-year-old Sushil Rajesh Yadav is missing since July 11. Family members told the police that the boy was last seen playing in front of their house at Bhaktnagar Society, Gadodara.
