Top 10 youngest Indian entrepreneurs of 2025–26: India is the world’s fastest-growing economy, powered by young entrepreneurs driving growth and reshaping industries across the country.
The Avendus Wealth-Hurun India U40 2025 List, released on Wednesday, highlighted that its list of entrepreneurs leads enterprises worth $357 billion, or Rs 31 lakh crore, which is nearly one-eleventh of India’s GDP.
These entrepreneurs have collectively raised over $22 billion in total funding in 2025, the report further highlighted.
Sanjay Byalal Jagannath, 36, co-founder of Bengaluru-based Exponent Energy, is the youngest Indian entrepreneur to be featured on the Hurun list.
Bengaluru, often called India’s Silicon Valley, leads the list with 48 featured entrepreneurs, reinforcing its status as the country’s top hub for founders under 40.
Beyond India, global hubs such as San Francisco, New York, and London also show a growing presence of Indian founders.
The 2025 list includes 15 women founders, reflecting gradual but meaningful progress in gender representation within India’s startup ecosystem.

Shreya Mishra, 36, co-founder of SolarSquare, is the youngest woman entrepreneur to be featured.
India’s startup ecosystem continues to strengthen, with approximately 83 per cent of the list consisting of first-generation founders who built their ventures from the ground up.
