Foreign made artificial limbs

PUNE, Oct 23: Sardar Meja Singh, former chief prosthesist and orthesist of the Artificial Limb Centre ALC, Pune has started a new unit to assemble the Mayeo Electric arm incorporating latest technology from England and Germany.

The new unit, run by his son Gurudev Singh, will assemble foreign made limbs which are lighter and more flexible. Gurudev Singh claims they have treated 30 patients with the new limbs satisfactorily.
