Force India’s Fisichella finish 12th in Barcelona

The 35-year-old Fisichella had turned in the sixth fastest time of 1:22.516 on the second day of the testing session while team tester Vitantonio Liuzzi was 10th clocking 1:22.942 in the new VJM01.

Toyota’s Italian driver Jarno Trulli was the fastest on the final day in 1:20.801 while Briton Lewis Hamilton, after dominating the first two days of testing, finished 10th in his McLaren (1:22.011).

Scot David Coulthard managed 1:21.258 in his Red Bull to be second quickest ahead of German Nico Rosberg of Williams (1:21.293)

Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso of Spain recorded his fastest time of the week (1:21.454) to finish seventh.
