As designer Varun Bahl says, 8220;If you turn up in chappals, then you come across as someone with a very individual sense of style and also someone who doesn8217;t care for what people think.8221;

Chappals must however be worn right, or they can turn out into a disaster. Varun recommends: 8220;Kohlapuris or leather chappals with linen pants are very chic. But turning up in beach chappals is a no-no.8221;
