Armaan Ebrahim, 16, completed a sensational debut in the A1 Grand Prix for Nations in Portugal on Sunday. A 13th place finish for Armaan, meant Team India for the first time recorded a finish in the championship and thus shirked off the Club DNF did not finish tag it carried forward from the two previous rounds at Great Britian and Germany.

For Armaan, who qualified 24th on Saturday, the run at the Estoril circuit was impressive for many reasons. First, he gained seven places on the grid in the Sprint Race.
