Explanation sought

She added that it is to be sorted out at the departmental level but as the faculty head, senior teachers are expected to be careful with important assignments. She added that the head of the department was also responsible for the action of the teacher as the in charge person himself was also not aware that he was to see to it that examinations were held without any disturbance.

The explanation given by Nanavati would also be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor of M S University Anil Kane and Pro vice-chancellor Deepak Kumar De.

When contacted, Nanavati refused to comment on the issue saying that he would submit his letter to the dean.

The examinations for this would now be held on Saturday March 13 and the question paper too would remain the same as they were not distributed in any section on Monday.
