CAPE CANAVERAL, FEBRUARY 12: The space shuttle Endeavour blasted off here Saturday, with six astronauts on board, on an 11-day mission to create a three-dimensional map of the earth8217;s surface.

The spacecraft lifted off at 23.13 IST, surging into the cloudless blue Florida sky as hundreds of spectators cheered.
