DU exchange programme with Japanese varsity

NEW DELHI, January 8: Delhi University DU signed an agreement of academic and educational exchange with the Soka University at Tokyo on Thursday. The agreement will be operative from the next academic session. This is 45th academic exchange programme to be undertaken by DU. The function was attended by 2,000 students and faculties from Soka University and guests from 18 countries. Under the agreement, students and faculty members of DU will be able to travel to Soka University for study and research. The travel and research expenses will be borne by the Soka university.

The following Deputy Commissioners of Police have been transfered:
Arvind Deep IPS 1988 on transfer from Arunachal Pardesh to DCP Vigilance.
Sandeep Goel IPS 1989 from Addl DCP N-W to DCP PCR.
Sanjay Beniwal IPS 1989 on transfer from Andaman and Nicobar to Addl DCP New Delhi.
Kewal Singh IPS 1989 from Mizoram to DCP HQ III.
Sunil Garg IPS 1992 on transfer from Arunachal Pradesh to Principal, Police Training College.
S.B.K. Singh IPS 1988 from DCP North East to DCP Central.
Uday Sahai IPS 1988 from DCP PCR to DCP West.
Muktesh Chander IPS 1988 from Addl DCP Central to DCP North East.
A A Farooquee from DCP 6th Bn to DCP AC Branch.
