Drunk cops 145;molest146; nurses

Two drunk policemen escaped after molesting some women and nurses at the Doon Government Hospital here last night.

Local police arrived at the hospital soon after its staff alerted them but could not nab the culprits. The two policemen, Ram Gopal and Shyam Singh Pundir of Hardwar Jail, had come to the hospital in the evening for a jail inmate8217;s medical check-up, police said.

They started drinking on the hospital premises and reportedly molested some women and nurses on duty. Even though police came soon after, both managed to escape.
