Wanna spend a whole evening whispering sweet-nothings into Hrithik Roshan’s ears? Wanna watch him from up, close and personal, and find out first-hand what makes him tick? Well, looks like someone’s about to make your dreams come true. Leading fashion brand, Provogue has tied up with the country’s newest star to present a contest which allows fans of the doe-eyed actor to enjoy a date with him. For the less fortunate ones, there’s a trip on the cruise liner from Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. To participate, you’re required to elbow your way into the closest Provogue outlet and lay your hands on an entry form. The best part is, you’re not even expected to purchase clothes from the store, to be eligible for the contest. For the young actor, meanwhile, this is the first of many promotions to come, we’re told. So expect huge hoardings featuring the bicep-bulging actor wearing fashionable Provogue ganjis and tees all across the city now…

There’s a swanky new club coming up on the Goregaon-Malad Link Road in some months. This one’s called Club Link, and there’s going to be several features including a swimming pool, a health club, a squash court and a cafeteria, in addition to a mini theatre and a cybercafe for members to enjoy. At the foundation laying ceremony held on the premise on Sunday morning, one spotted such stars as Govinda, Jackie Shroff, Amrish Puri and television’s hottie Amita Nangia rub shoulders with the other guests invited to join in the revelry. Chairman S P Malhotra, whose brainchild this club is, reserved all his attention for H.H. Sri Sri Sri Ramakrishnananda Saraswathy Swamiji Sankaracharya (quite a mouthful, wot?) who had been invited to flag off the auspicious beginning. While lovable baldie Amrish Puri was among the first to arrive, with good ol’ Jaggu dada making an early appearance, for a change even the usually-late Govinda arrived before lunchtime. Not surprisingly, once the stars arrived, most little ones (andeven a handful of some embarrassing adults) just flocked them for autographs and pictures. Do we suspect Govinda’s jaw is still hurting from all the smiling?
