There is very little to choose from the two teams. Both Delhi, who take on Tamil Nadu in Chennai in their Elite-A Ranji Trophy games, and Railways who meet a resurgent Bengal in Kolkata, have a one-point agenda: how to save relegation that looms large.

The task not all that easy. But it is definitely in the relam of possibilities, provided both teams8217; batsmen put their heads down and raise to the occasion.

Even for Delhi8217;s opponents, Tamil Nadu, the job is not easy. They too had a bad season compared but have an outside chance to make the last four against a demoralised Delhi squad. For this to happen, the hosts need to achieve an outright win with a bonus point.

Delhi8217;s coach Madan Lal, however, said his team8217;s priority to avoid relegation and make the must of a batsmen-friendly turf. He is depending on his top order to fire with youngsters pitching in with useful contributions.

On the other hand, Bengal with just nine points like Tamil Nadu need more than eke out a victory against an equally desperate Sanjay Bangar 038; Co, with just four points on the table.

The return of left-arm spinner Murali Kartik is a good news for Railways. 8216;8216;Murali is back, so that is going to be a key aspect of out team composition,8221; said Bangar after their practice session. Dreading that a series of batting collapses have done them in this season, Bangar discussed that it was the combination of 8220;experiments in the middle-order8221; and the 8220;well-balanced bowling attack8221; that he was banking on.

For the hosts, in-form all-rounder Manoj Tewari is back in the eleven, while Shib Sagar Singh is set to replace rookie speedster Ashok Dinda. What has put the Bengal think-tank in a dilemma is whether to drop young bat Subhajit Paul for experienced campaigner Subhomoy Das to open.
