Budget to hit middle class most While not wavering in his commitment to further the process of economic reforms, Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha today presented a tough, if somewhat pro-swadeshi, budget which is almost certain to hit the middle classes. The budget stepped up the defence outlay by 14 per cent to Rs 41,200 crore, says a report from New Delhi.
