One killed after being hit by truck
Vikram Singh, son of Prem Singh, resident of Pipliwala Town, Manimajra was brought dead to the PGI. According to the police, he was injured by a speeding truck near Bapu Dham; the vehicle fled away after the accident.

Two admitted for burn injuries n Ashok Kumar and his wife Ruby, residents of Attawa, were admitted in the PGI yesterday with serious burns. The police are ascertaining the circumstances leading to the injuries.

Hallomajra resident injured
Baby, son of Dinanath or Hallomajra, was admitted to the PGI with injuries sustained in an accident at the Chandigarh Industrial Area factory where he is employed.

Hit by motorcylce
Munish Kumar, son of Hari Ram of Ram Darbar, was admitted to the PGI with serious head injuries. According to the police he was struck by a motorcycle as he was walking on the road near his home.

Kerosene ingestion
Harish Goel, son of Surya Goel of Sector 11, Panchkula, was rushed to the PGI with symptoms of poisoning. According to police information, he is believed to have ingested kerosene.
