Police seize liquor bottles
In two separate incidents, the city police today recovered 12 bottles of whiskey and 44 pouches of wine respectively from Ram Darbar resident Raj Kumar and Colony No 5 resident Tota Ram. Separate cases under Excise Act have been registered against the two.

Palsora resident alleges assault
Palsora colony resident Mohinder Singh reported that he was assaulted by his colony resident Ramesh Kumar over a minor issue. A case has been registered.

Jewellery stolen
Panchkula8217;s Sector 15 resident Kamal Gupta reported to the police that a bag containing some jewellery has been stolen from his car parked near K C Cinema parking. In a separate case, Panchkula8217;s Sector 17 resident Pawan Kumar reported that his scooter HR-38-5874 has been stolen.
