15-yr-old alleges rape by kin
A 15-year-old resident of Burail has alleged that she was raped by her maternal uncle in connivance with his sister. In a complaint lodged with the police, the girl has stated that her uncle, Raj Kumar, and aunt Rajinder Kaur had taken her to a lonely spot. Rajinder Kaur had slipped away while Raj Kumar committed the alleged crime. Police say that though Raj Kumar is a resident of Morinda, he runs a spices business in the City. A case has been registered under Sections 376 and 120 for rape and criminal conspiracy. The police are investigating into case.

Scooter stolen
The theft of a scooter (CH-01-S-0677) was reported by Zamail Khan, a resident of Mani Majra. Police have registered a case and are pursuing the matter.
