CPI, an alliance partner of the Jan Morcha, today released its list of 17 candidates for the coming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.Releasing the list at a press conference here, senior CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjan said that the Morcha would contest 193 seats in the elections and a decision about the remaining 210 seats would be taken on the basis of Morcha’s talks about forging an alliance with the RLD.“The talks with RLD chief Ajit Singh is in the final stage and a decision is expected in a day or two,” he said. Meanwhile, the Congress on Monday declared names of candidates for the Bilhaur Lok Sabha byelection and the remaining two seats for the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
