
GQ magazine8217;s India edition launch lived up to expectations
Perhaps one of the most awaited parties of the year, the globally successful luxury lifestyle magazine for men, GQ, launched its much-awaited Indian edition at the grand opening of the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai over the weekend. The one of a kind celebratory event brought together a partnership with leading luxury and brands 8211; Porsche and Four Seasons. More than 800 guests from the luxury space, heads of corporate houses, leading fashion designers, Bollywood and key opinion leaders attended the star-studded event.

We are proud to celebrate the confidence and enthusiasm of a young nation on the move.8221; Befitting the global GQ positioning; the Indian edition drew attention from luxury sports car manufacturer Porsche with its display of the Porsche Cayenne at the launch. The exclusive evening showcased unique spaces reflecting eclectic themes from the magazine. Guests were appropriately awestruck by the interiors which were dressed in black and gold, with an all original GQ Blues Lounge on level 33, a high energy Night Club at San Qi and the Chill Out Zone at the lobby 8211; transforming the Four Seasons into 8216;GQ City8217;. With exotic multi-cuisine savouries, delectable vegetarian martinis, Spanish Paella, scrumptious Brittany oysters, South African Ostrich appetizers, the hotel prepared a feast for the discerning taste buds.
In true GQ style, the evening8217;s entertainment wound into high gear with live performances by DJ Gordon Edge and soul singer Might Mo Rodgers and company who were flown down especially for the launch. Guests cheered as the grand unveiling of the launch issue took place, the clock striking 12. Adding the glamour quotient to the evening were fashion designers Rohit Bal, Nandita Mahtani, Ravi Bajaj, Narendra Kumar Ahmed and Suneet Verma along with Bollywood8217;s much loved Arjun Rampal, Mehr Jesia, Dino Morea, Upen Patel and Tara Sharma. Posing for the shutterbugs and looking resplendent was Lara Dutta in a Valentino white dress while Malaika Arora Khan showed off her fabulous figure in a scoop necked Dolce 038; Gabbana yellow dress.
