CHANDIGARH, Dec 21: The on-going Consumer-98, an exhibition-cum-sale, drew a large number of people on the third day at the Parade Ground here.The exhibition which has been sponsored by the Lions Club Chandigarh Plaza has products to meet the daily needs of the consumers. Today8217;s special attraction was a free ayurvedic medical check up, including on-the-spot check up of blood sugar.
Hepatitis-B vaccination was also administrated.For the fun lovers, there was the tambola game and the food festival by Andaz caterers to serve different cuisines.
The car promoted by the silver screen icon Shahrukh Khan, Hyundai Santro was also on display at the exhibition.
People visited the stalls which had products ranging from biscuits to woollen wear to air conditioners to furniture on display.
The chairman of the exhibition, Lion H.S. Malhotra informed that the participants had come from various parts of the northern India to take part in the exhibition which would conclude on December 21.
