
The Congress8217; newly-elected MLAs from Andhra Pradesh are all set to elect their leader and the next chief minister of the state on Wednesday.
According to sources, the chances are in favour of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who had last week met party president Sonia Gandhi in the national Capital.
Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and Shivraj Patil would be arriving in Hyderabad on Wednesday and supervise the crucial meeting, party sources said on Tuesday. The clear mandate in favour of Congress in the 294-member House makes the task of central observers easy.
