Cong concedes defeat

Conceding its defeat in Karnataka Assembly election, the Congress on Monday said the party would perform the role of the Opposition in the state. “We accept defeat. We wish the BJP well. But we will play our democratic role of opposing, exposing and deposing the Government,” said AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka Prithviraj Chavan.
